Hi! I’m Scott Moore. You may have heard me as Todd Wilson’s sidekick on the Familyman Show podcast or perhaps as the co-host of Steve Demme’s Building Faith Families podcast. I also host my own podcasts – Unsocialized: The Homeschool Podcast; Podcast Leaders; and, The Mastermind Podcast – at the Unsocialized Media Network. If you would like to take advantage of this medium of podcasting that is exploding in popularity and allows anyone to be a media outlet, I’d love to help.
As you may know, podcasts are fast becoming a part of everyday life for millions of people worldwide. What you may not have known is that podcasting is a great way to reach your target market, your customers, your audience, and your followers and friends. As I wrote recently on my blog at www.podcastleaders.com:
I don’t give strangers my undivided attention for a half hour every week. I only do that with people I genuinely care about. The people whose podcasts I listen to may not know me as well as I know them, but I do feel like I know them. It may not be a traditional friendship we have, but it’s something special. The relationship between a podcaster and a listener is special. Don’t ever forget that.
That’s the power of a podcast. People all across America (and all around the world) are listening to podcasts in their cars, while they work out, while they eat, etc. There’s something very personal about it, too. When you connect with someone through a podcast, it’s like you’re right there in the room, the car, or even in their head through the intimacy of earphones.
Did you know the average commute is 22 minutes? A lot of people are getting tired of radio and are switching to podcasts to make use of their driving time. Lots of people walk on the treadmill or an elliptical machine for 20-30 minutes a day. And, just think.
They could be listening to you.
Would you like to have your own podcast?
I can help you with that. Contact me and we’ll get started.
